Future Focused The largest, most influential local government conference in Australia occurs just once a year. The Australian Local Government Association's National General Assembly, held in Canberra, attracts more than 870 representatives from councils across the states and territories. The theme for the 2019 Conference is Future Focused. This assembly will consider what councils can do today to get ready for the challenges, opportunities and changes that lie ahead.
