A national survey to help provide a blueprint for a “reimagined future for volunteering in Australia” opened last week.
Volunteering Australia, the national peak body for volunteering, says the survey will underpin the development of the National Strategy for Volunteering.
“It is a historic opportunity to capture the current state of volunteering, map trends, and consider how volunteering may evolve into the future,” the organisation says.
Volunteer managers, program leaders, CEOs, or individuals who otherwise represent a group involving volunteers are all being urged to have their say on the future of volunteering.
The closing date for the organisation survey has been extended until Tuesday 14 June. Click here for more information.
A draft national strategy is scheduled for release in August, with a strategy proper set for a December launch.
