Australia’s local governments are ready to work with the Commonwealth, as well as our state and territory governments, to help deliver a COVID-19 recovery program that reaches every Australian town, city and region.
If implemented, the seventeen priorities listed below would create more than 43,000 new jobs and add $6.46 billion to Australia’s annual Gross Domestic Product.
They would also ensure that every Australian has the opportunity to share in the benefits of our national recovery, and that no community is left behind.
