The PNG-Australia Transport Sector Support Program (TSSP), managed by SMEC, is an Australian aid project funded by the Australian Government. The long-term development goal is a safer, more reliable transport system which enables economic and social development in PNG. TSSP is looking for qualified professionals for the following roles:
SENIOR ROAD ENGINEER ADVISER
This position works with Department of Works (DoW) to strengthening organisational capacity in overseeing the implementation of road maintenance/rehabilitation works. The position will coordinate TSSP road projects, design and plan maintenance contracts; and provide high quality reporting.
ROAD NETWORK PLANNING ADVISER
This role will work to enhance land transport planning capacity in the areas of funding, modelling and asset management. The role will assist with the development of strategy, policy and reporting to assist the DoW implement its obligations in regard to road assets.
