Local Area Traffic Management (LATM) Workshop
Want to gain real hands on experience solving LATM related concerns? This two-day intensive training course will bring students up to speed with current best practice applying LATM principles.
The information presented will be based on the background material supporting the latest 2016 edition of the Austroads Guide to Traffic Management Part 8: Local Area Traffic Management. It will cover material relating to best practice techniques, available resources, design principles, device selection, special needs of different road users and a case study syndicate exercise to provide hands on experience applying the latest practice.
All participants will be provided with a copy of workshop and speakers’ notes. This documentation will be a useful technical resource for all traffic engineering and planning practitioners that have exposure to LATM.
