Safe Road Infrastructure 101

This course is specifically designed to cover the fundamentals of Road Safety Engineering. It introduces the context, concepts and principles underlying the practice of Road Safety in Australia, New Zealand and other developed countries – how we safely manage the road network for all road users.
The course offers an ideal starting point for those new to Road Safety the profession or needing to gain more information in specific areas of this work. If you are beginning a career in local government, a road agency or in a Road Safety Engineering related consulting role, this is the course that will give you the fundamental understanding to progress confidently in your role and know where and how to seek out more knowledge.
