Don't miss the early bird registration discount for this year's National Local Roads and Transport Congress, which will be held from 20 to 22 November in Alice Springs. Early bird registrations are set to close on 12 October 2018.
The theme for this year’s Roads Congress is ‘Connecting transport networks now and into the future’ reflecting that local roads and bridges connect individuals, communities and businesses and often provide connectivity between major freight routes.
Improved transport connectivity allows greater accessibility to employment and markets, and cost savings in terms of reduced transit times, less traffic congestion and reduced transport costs. It is critical that local government’s role in this connectivity is recognised and funded appropriately to ensure that our nation's roads and transport networks are fit-for-purpose now and into the future.
If you want to know how to improve your community’s roads and infrastructure, if you want to access the latest technology, to be inspired by the best in the business, and to speak directly to our federal decision makers, attend this year’s Congress.
If you haven’t already, take full advantage of the early bird discount and register your attendance on the ALGA website.
