In June and October 2017, OneMusic Australia, a joint initiative of APRA AMCOS and PPCA, released consultation papers outlining a proposal for licensing the use of music in Local Government Areas (LGAs) or councils.
Drawing from the feedback received, OneMusic Australia has now published a paper outlining its final position for the proposed OneMusic Australia Councils licensing scheme. The paper is available at the following link: http://www.onemusic.com.au/app/uploads/2017/03/LGA_181003.pdf
OneMusic Australia is expected to officially launch in mid-2019, and current APRA AMCOS and PPCA licensees will be notified regarding their transition to a OneMusic licence.
