Local governments were required to notify the Minister for Foreign Affairs by 10 June of any foreign arrangements entered into on or before 9 March 2021.
Councils that would like to discuss any foreign arrangements that were not notified by the 10 June deadline can contact DFAT’s Foreign Arrangements Taskforce at foreignarrangements@dfat.gov.au for assistance.
The words “Local Government Inquiry” should be included in the title of the email.
