The national biosecurity strategy consultation draft has been publicly released for comment.
This will be Australia’s first national biosecurity strategy and will set the direction for the future of the national biosecurity system.
The consultation draft reflects stakeholder views about how the biosecurity system needs to evolve. It also outlines a “vision and purpose, priority areas and initial proposed actions”.
It also includes questions for stakeholders to consider when reading and providing comments on the consultation draft.
