The Australian Local Government Association is seeking the services of a recruitment agency to undertake the process of recruiting for the next Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ALGA.
The Australian Local Government Association is the national voice of local government, representing 537 councils across the country.
The unique nature of ALGA’s peak body advocacy is that the Chief Executive Officer supports ALGA’s board members and the need to work effectively with state and territory peak body members in a federated structure.
The successful agency will work the with ALGA Board to advertise, review the position description, shortlist, and assist with interviews and selection of suitable candidate.
Expression of interest need to address the following criteria:
- Organisational availability, capability and capacity including experience / qualifications of team members to undertake the recruitment process;
- Proposed methodology including demonstrated understanding of recruitment services requires and the proposed approach including timeframes;
- Past performance including recent examples of recruitment at the senior executive /chief executive level;
- Referees; and
- Proposed fees.
