I hope you had a lovely weekend!

As you know, for the past two weeks, I run an ALGA News survey to get your thoughts on how we could improve the newsletter to make it more interesting for you as well as other readers.

A really interesting idea came up in the survey that I’d like to get your view on especially if you’re from a council; here’s the link and it’ll take maximum 2 minutes: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/YY86SPL. It would be great to hear what you think of it…

Overall though, it was clear through the survey that, although ALGA News is a valued source of information to our subscribers, there are areas of improvement:

• Most subscribers overwhelmingly want to see more stories on what other councils are up to, including examples of council best practice.
• Subscribers also want to be kept across Federal grants and funding opportunities.
• I also received suggestions on improving the look-and-feel of the newsletter to bring it in line with the style of current news outlets.

All of this feedback is greatly appreciated and I can assure you it will be taken on board to keep improving ALGA News.
