Learn the do's and dont's of truck bodies, cranes, tail gates, tail lifts and more
If you are involved in ordering or managing heavy vehicle fleets this training day is a must.
HVIA, the national association representing the heavy vehicle industry, is presenting a one-day course covering fundamental technical and regulatory aspects of fitting bodies and equipment to trucks and trailers.
The training will demystify heavy vehicle modification regulations and the legal framework, by examining typical truck and trailer body types and how they are mounted.
We'll look at:
- key technical aspects of attaching items to a truck or trailer chassis, such as bodies, cranes, tail gates, tail lifts and more;
- considerations in truck and trailer body fit and the modification certification process;
- which areas of government are responsible for the regulations, and where the regulations can be found.
